Monkey in the Bath

The new premiere of Satiricus I. L. Caragiale Theatre may be considered as a protest against “aping” of Moldavian society in the period of convention when for the most of the people money became the main value of existence, when “new Moldavians” who got reach during the night are establishing the rules for all poor man of this world in rout. The experiment intended by a scientist of transforming a stolen monkey from the zoo into a man offers for the producer of this fascinate performance the possibility of presenting the misery of our existence lived here and now through a caricature vision.
