Patriotic victims
“Caragiale’s moments which are used entirely or partly – “the Stressed Atmosphere”, Art.214, “The Patriotic Victims”, “the Romanian Justice”, “the Politics”, “the Romanian Leaseholder”, “the Romanian Whim” etc.- present a biting satire and humor towards the yesterday, today and tomorrow victims. The author of the play, realizing the selection and stage version of these works, had as an aim to outline the part of the main personage, Conul Leonida, as well as the environment, milieu, “ideas friends” where he formed himself as a politician and revolutionist. Each one of the spectators, being loyal to Theatre, wants to know with no doubt, about the backstage life, and first of all, how it is creating the future play.
